    Would like to share the experience I had with Lowe’s location (3101 West Wabash Springfield, Illinois) 2/24/18. My fiancé and I use this store for many of our home projects you could say we are frequent visitors of this location and spend countless dollars on wood for projects. After the experience I had today my fiancé and I will not be returning back to this location! Our experience with checking out at terminal #35 cashier : name being Yvonne. We had two carts, one my Fianace was pulling that had two sheets of wood on it and then I was behind him with another cart that had my daughters infant carrier cart seat in which had my infant daughter in , then my purse, and then our diaper bag. My fiancé grabbed plastic wrapping to cover the wood for our fourtyfive minute drive home that we didn’t want damaged because of the rain. We had the cashier scan the wrapping first then my fiancé put it in the cart then she scanned the two sheets of wood. Yvonne handed my fiancé the receipt we start to leave (infant daughter is crying so we were trying to step out of the way of the line so we don’t interrupt others with their shopping experience. Yvonne says loudly” you didn’t pay for that? We look over our shoulder and turn our carts back around to show her the receipt She rudely grabs the wrapping and says” NO’ I didn’t” You guys are leaving awfully fast” at that point we are mortified of being excused of stealing plastic painters wrap especially with our infant daughter with us. We have her scan the receipt to prove she had scanned the plastic wrapping before she scanned the wood, after being proved wrong Yvonne did not apologized what so ever . I understand cashiers have a right to make sure all merchandise is scanned in before leaving the store, but after that rude experience I will never be back. Thank you.
